Excelsior 6 x 1500 ml mineral water
The key to successful dosing of magnesium and calcium lies in ensuring the correct physiognomic ratio. Magnesium and calcium only work together in the correct, harmonious ratio.
Excelsior has been bottled in Marienbad for over a hundred years. A spring whose correct ratio ideally combines the beneficial effects of magnesium and calcium.Calcium intake alone is not nearly as important as the calcium-to-magnesium ratio. The same receptors that regulate calcium also affect magnesium. Studies have shown that calcium competes directly or indirectly with magnesium for absorption and transport in the intestine, especially when calcium intake is much higher than magnesium intake.
If there is more magnesium than calcium in the intestine, magnesium is absorbed; if there is much more calcium, magnesium is not absorbed. It is therefore advisable to use lower doses of calcium more frequently and avoid large doses of more than 250 mg at a time. This contributes to better absorption of both elements, magnesium and calcium.
The 2:1 calcium to magnesium ratio was first mentioned by French scientist Jean Durlach to prevent excessive calcium intake, which is not optimal for health.Analysis of the EXCELSIOR source
