Saratica 6 x 500 ml mineral water
Saratica 6 × 500 ml Natural Mineral Water
Saratica is a highly mineralized natural mineral water from the Czech Republic, naturally rich in magnesium (808 mg/L). It is not artificially fortified and provides magnesium – an essential mineral that contributes to the normal function of the digestive system, nervous system, muscles, and heart. The recommended daily intake of magnesium for adults is 375 mg.
Saratica is traditionally valued for its naturally occurring sulfate content. Its characteristic properties are due to the presence of two naturally occurring sulfate minerals:
- Magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt – MgSO₄ · nH₂O)
- Sodium sulfate (Glauber’s salt – Na₂SO₄ · nH₂O)
These natural sulfates retain water in the intestines, supporting normal bowel function and promoting regularity.
Unlike many conventional laxatives, Saratica is traditionally used as a natural mineral water and is generally considered suitable for regular use when consumed according to the recommended instructions.
With a naturally slightly alkaline pH of 7.4, Saratica closely matches the pH of human saliva and blood. It is a completely natural mineral water whose mineral composition has not been chemically altered.
Saratica can be enjoyed as part of a balanced lifestyle. Many people include it in their wellness routine alongside a healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables and adequate hydration.
The conquered territory of Saratice lies in a picturesque landscape around Újezd u Brna, near the battlefield of Slavkov, where the Battle of the Three Emperors took place in 1805.
The stimulating properties of Saratice have been known in the beverage industry for centuries. Bottling began in 1896, and the wine was sold not only in Moravia but also throughout Austria-Hungary. The brand was registered in the Czech Republic in 1888, making it one of the oldest in Europe.
What history books fail to mention is any reference to the famous Battle of Austerlitz, where—as fate would have it—the Šaratica River originates. The defeated troops are said to have camped near the spring and drunk copious amounts of its water. It is therefore quite possible that some Russian and Austrian soldiers lost this battle, so crucial for Europe, while still in their camps and in a less than flattering position.
